Ami Pepper

Ami Pepper is a jeweller from the Pembrokeshire coast, where the shifting tides and natural textures of the shoreline inspire her sculptural designs. Her jewellery explores the intricate formations of shells and underwater landscapes, capturing the raw beauty of the sea in organic, ocean-worn forms.

Growing up by the seashore, Ami studied the colours, shapes, and patterns left behind by the tide. In her Pembrokeshire studio, she translates these natural elements into jewellery, hand-carving wax to reflect the slow growth of barnacles and clustered sea forms. Using the lost wax casting technique, each piece is cast into precious metals and encrusted with gemstones, evoking the essence of rare ocean treasures.

Her work embodies the changing nature of the coastline - textural, fluid, and shaped by the rhythms of the sea.
