Mariko Tsuchiyama

Mariko Tsuchiyama redefines the use of pearls in contemporary jewellery, combining hand-sculpted forms with a commitment to sustainability. Established in 2016, her brand reflects both the tranquil beaches of her youth and the raw coastline of Brighton, where she now lives and works.

Her creative process is shaped by memories, textures and objects gathered during time spent in Hong Kong, Paris and London, layered with the constant influence of the sea outside her studio. Assisted by skilled artisans, she handcrafts each piece using goldsmithing techniques, bringing individuality and refinement to every design.

Her collections embody a gender-neutral and contemporary sensibility, with pearls at the centre of her practice and continually reimagined in new forms.
