ætla Winter Residency 2026

Welcome to the ætla Residency Program, an initiative designed to support and celebrate diverse talent within the jewellery world. Each quarter, we invite three jewellers to join us in-store and online for three months. These residents range from well-established names to emerging talents and recent graduates. This program offers a platform for creativity, providing a space for jewellers to showcase their work, engage with new audiences, and grow their artistic practice. It is a celebration of craftsmanship, innovation, and community.

Eliz Fan
Eliz Fan is a Taiwanese artist and fine jeweller, born and raised in Hong Kong and now based in London. A graduate of the Royal College of Art, her work explores memory, identity and cultural heritage.

Drawing on her East Asian heritage and the philosophies of wabi-sabi and ichigo ichie, Eliz brings together Eastern and Western influences through precious metals and gemstones. Her work reinterprets traditional Chinese and Japanese ornamental forms, exploring imperfection, transience and the traces left by hand and time.

Holly O'Hanlon
Holly O’Hanlon is an award-winning Irish jewellery designer based in London. A graduate of Central Saint Martins, her work explores material, form and function, drawing inspiration from overlooked lines and structures within the urban environment.

Working from her Farringdon studio, Holly handcrafts each piece using recycled precious metals, diamonds and freshwater pearls. Pearls are central to her practice, individually sliced and ground using traditional goldsmithing and Japanese lapidary techniques. Paired with contrasting precious metals, they challenge conventional fine jewellery forms and familiar jewellery archetypes.
