After moving to London, Alex trained in jewellery at the School of Art, Architecture and Design. He established Alex Monroe Jewellery in 1986 with the intention of creating original, hand-made pieces. Wenyin Jiang
Wenyin Jiang is a jewellery designer based between London and Shanghai. Trained at Central Saint Martins, her practice centres on jewellery as a form of wearable art, shaped by movement and sound.
Her ongoing collection, NIBIRU, is a cohesive body of kinetic jewellery exploring themes of distance and movement. Spanning necklaces, earrings, brooches, rings and sculptural objects, each piece is named after a real star, suggesting an imagined universe in which objects and bodies are subtly linked. Some works produce a gentle chime when worn, while others respond quietly to the wearer’s movement.
Each piece is handcrafted in her London studio using recycled silver and responsibly sourced gold, alongside borosilicate glass elements and ethically sourced gemstones. Her work has been shown internationally through exhibitions and fairs.
