One-of-a-kind Regency Long Lattice Earrings showcase a statement arrangement of sixteen 4 x 3 mm and two large 13 x 9 mm faceted pear-cut Amethyst gemstones. Set in silver and finished with a pale lilac ceramic coating, the colour drench effect enhances the gemstones and reflect the warmth and depth of richly embroidered textiles.
Solid 18 carat gold ear hooks and hinges provide a warm contrast to the lilac tones, while the hinged sections allow the earrings to move and catch the light. Bold, elegant, and full of colour, these earrings are a modern interpretation of historic jewellery forms.
Each design begins life as cotton thread, stitched by Ebba in her studio in Scotland. The thread is moulded and cast in wax before being transformed into solid metal through the ancient lost wax casting technique, translating textile threads into future heirlooms.
