Part of the ætla Revival collection, this Georgian memorial ring has been thoughtfully altered, preserving the character of the original piece while introducing a contemporary pink sapphire centre stone. Crafted in 18ct yellow gold, the ring features an engraved foliate design to the shoulders, framing a scalloped black enamel plaque set with a baguette-cut pink sapphire.
Originally created as a memorial ring in 1800's, the piece retains its full London hallmarks and traces of its history, including the original inscription within the band. The addition of the pink sapphire brings a striking contrast to the dark enamel, giving new life to this deeply personal antique jewel.
