Tilda Ring

The Tilda Ring features a Scottish galaxy agate in deep chocolate brown, with a distinctive pale grey eye at its centre, paired with an 18ct yellow gold band. Sourced from a small quarry in Barras that is now closed to agate collecting, the stone is a rare example with rich colour and striking natural patterning.

Inspired by Neolithic and Bronze Age stone carving, Sian Evans’ jewellery explores the enduring qualities of stone and precious metals. Sian often personally sources and hand-carves the stones using traditional lapidary techniques, as well as alloying her own precious metals. Involved in every stage of the making process, her work celebrates ancient craftsmanship, carefully selected materials and techniques that have endured for thousands of years.
