These completely unique agate earrings are based on a collection of observations of colours and textures from around the coastline of Sarah Brown's home on the Island of Islay, on Scotlands west coast.
Sarah selected agates that mirror the variations of subtle colours and coral like forms in the seaweed that lines the rocks and rock pools along the coast. The textural gold elements depict a tapestry of textures from sea foam rolling in on the waves, seaweed ribbons that have washed up on the shore and the smooth flowing lines of swirling water.
Sarah Brown's pieces are all handmade in her Islay studio.
